Special Sessions

RESEM 2026 invites academicians, researchers, and industry professionals to propose Special Sessions (SS) to be organized during the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Renewable Energy and Sustainable E-Mobility (RESEM-2026), to be held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, India, during 24–26 July 2026.

Purpose of Special Sessions: Special Sessions offer a platform to focus on emerging and specialized research themes that may not be fully covered under the regular conference tracks, enabling researchers to interact, exchange ideas, and discuss recent developments in targeted domains.

Proposal Requirements

Proposals for Special Sessions should include the following details:

  • Title of the Special Session along with a suitable acronym
  • Brief overview of the proposed session (approximately 200–300 words), highlighting the theme and its relevance to RESEM-2026
  • Details of the session organizers, including names, affiliations, email addresses, and a short professional profile (CVs)
  • Tentative list of potential contributors and paper titles, if available
  • Justification for the proposed Special Session, explaining its significance, novelty, and alignment with the conference scope

Special Session Organization

The organizers of a Special Session are expected to:

  • Publicize the Special Session among relevant research communities and encourage high-quality submissions
  • Ensure that all submitted papers are aligned with the theme and scope of the proposed Special Session
  • Coordinate closely with the Technical Program Chair (TPC) for review and scheduling processes
  • Serve as Session Chairs and manage the conduct of the Special Session during the conference

Paper Submission for Special Sessions

Manuscripts submitted under Special Sessions shall adhere to the same submission and review procedures as regular conference papers:

  • All papers must be prepared in accordance with the IEEE conference paper format
  • Submissions will be evaluated through the standard peer-review process
  • Accepted and presented papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE guidelines
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must complete conference registration to ensure inclusion in the program

Review Process

  • All Special Session proposals will be reviewed by the Technical Program Chair (TPC) of RESEM-2026. Proposals will be assessed based on their relevance to the conference themes, technical significance, novelty, potential impact, and the expertise of the proposed organizers.
  • Approved Special Sessions will be notified to the organizers and announced on the conference website.

Requirements

For a Special Session to be included in the final conference program, the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • A minimum of eight (8) accepted papers is required for the session
  • All submitted papers must meet the technical quality and review standards of the conference
  • At least one Special Session organizer must be available to chair and manage the session during the conference
